The night was cold but would soon be warmed by the scorching hot music of Jenni Rivera. Morongo Casinowas hopping with fans who have come to see Jenni Rivera and they would not be disappointed. Jenni Rivera emerged from the male dominated field of ‘Banda Sinaloense’, a brass-based form of traditional Mexican music. Rivera has triumphantly left her mark on the Mexican-American world as the “First Lady of Corrido”. Saturday night’s show was reminiscent of the late Selena “Queen of Tajeda”, as Jenni Rivera “Queen of Banda” amped the crowd with her sexy swagger and independent female driven lyrics.
